ABOUT HAYLEY JAYNE - MEET THE MAKER…
So much of what I do comes from a creative desire & a general interest in people & their story. I love to capture something real, something which will tell your story in years to come, something which will make you go ‘wow’ when you receive your final images. I am a big believer in authentic & honest photography. I have always felt honoured to be a wedding photographer, to capture someone’s love story & preserve their memories for a lifetime has always felt like something special to me.
“To the world you may be one person, but to one person you are the world” Bill Wilson
I started photographing weddings in 2013 & I feel very fortunate to be a preferred supplier at several beautiful Essex wedding venues Greenwoods, The Barn Brasserie, Apton Hall & Woolston Manor. I am currently featured in An Essex Wedding Magazine, my work has also been featured on Hitched & I recently won a Bridebook award (yay!)
I have a relaxed working style, many of my clients hardly notice their photo's being taken, as there is so much that happens naturally at a wedding, I have an endless supply of action, laughter, tears (happy tears!) & romance, giving me most of the content I need to supply a beautiful portfolio at the end of the day. While it’s important to capture some essential family portraits, there’s no need for endless group shots (yawn!) when you have so much happening at a wedding.
A little more about me…
It is important to feel comfortable with your photographer, as they'll be working closely with you for most of the day. So here's a little bit about me;
THINGS I LOVE…
MUSIC | COFFEE + CAKE | TRAVELLING | MY FAMILY | A GOOD BOOK | BEING BY THE SEA | NATURE | DOGS | PAINTING | YOGA | CARVELA BOOTS | PIZZA | FRENCH MARTINI’S | AND MORE PIZZA!
I live in a pretty village near Colchester, Essex about an hour away from London with my partner Jon & my son. Jon also films weddings, and when he’s not doing that he’s usually found shooting me with nurf guns, growing hot chilli’s or laughing at his own jokes! We became brand new parents to a baby boy last year & I love being a mum, my perspective on life has definitely changed since becoming a parent.
I worked as a musician before falling in love with photography, I still sometimes write songs. I’m drawn to adventures, so sitting at a desk all day would not suit me, this is why photography has come so naturally to me & keeps me inspired creatively.
Thank you for taking the time to read about me, I hope you have managed to get a feel about who I am in this little space.
