I had the great pleasure of capturing this fantastic wedding at Milling Barn recently. Milling Barn has an undeniable charm, it's quite simply breathtaking. The barn was built in the 17th century, and is surrounded by acres of rustic countryside & a farm yard. I stumbled across the shop in the farm yard when I was choosing which areas to capture for the bride & groom portrait shots, the farm yard sell some beautiful pieces of home made/unique furniture.
Emma & Jonathan tied the knot on 6th August, in the pavilion on a perfect summers day. They had a traditional English ceremony, followed by a jewish blessing & left their ceremony, graciously walking out to tonnes of confetti & smiles from their excited guests. The clock was against us, as their wedding breakfast was not far away, so we quickly drove into the woods nearby for their portrait shots (in my beetle, Betty!) and made the most of the rustic forest nearby. A banquet style wedding breakfast shortly followed, with some heart warming, and funny speeches. Emma & Jonathan ended their night with a live band (the saxophonist was rocking) and a dance floor full to the brim of all their guests having the time of their lives.
A great day, a great wedding, and a fabulous couple.
