Hey all, a little blog post on this beautiful wedding I photographed recently at Piggyback barns.
Mary got ready at home with her best mate, some close family & her daughter (such a sweetheart!). Mary was so calm, chilled & ready to…Read More
Boreham House is just wow! What a spectacular venue to get married in, everything is grand & finished to the finest detail, from the staircase to the decor, this is certainly a dream venue for a wedding. David & Victoria celebrated their whole day in this stunning mansion, and I was there capturing it all, from the getting ready, the vows, the breakfast, the laughter, the dancing, the romance, and the fireworks!
I discovered that me & David went to the same primary school for the first year, and that my dad rescued his sister from a locked bathroom… such a coincidence & so very random!
Here are a few of my favourite moments from their beautiful wedding.
Sneak preview for Sophie & Toby now on the blog! This lovely couple tied the knot at Little Channels in Chelmsford, Essex on Sunday 26th May. Sophie got ready at home & had the most lovely reaction from her dad when he saw her for the first time, all ready for the big day (he said he wouldn’t get emotional, but I definitely saw tears!). They celebrated the rest of their day at the venue with all their close family & friends. They had a travel theme & vintage styling, enjoyed some heartfelt speeches & then partied the night away.
Sian & Ryan have waited a long time for this day, as they had to work it into Ryan’s navy schedule, amongst other things. They tied the knot at The Friern Manor & it was the most beautiful mild & sunny November day. Keeping the navy theme going, the colour scheme was navy & gold, and it worked out beautifully. Sian was a busy bride to be leading up to the wedding, planning ahead for all the final details of the day, she also made the bouquet & cake herself.
Sian & Ryan decided to break tradition & have a first look. Shortly before the ceremony they met & exchanged gifts, Ryan saw Sian in her dress for the first time and they shared a beautiful moment together. The rest of the day unfolded simply & elegantly, with some heart felt & hilarious speeches, ending with smiles & laughter on the dance floor.
Here are a few sneak previews of their beautiful wedding.
Right from the start, I knew Jess & Joe would be a pleasure to work for, they made every effort to make me & my second shooter feel welcome. I was quite excited about this wedding, a golden opportunity as a photographer to work at the famous Pinewood Studio grounds, where some of the greatest films have been produced. Heatherden Hall is a stunning Georgian Manor house with manicured gardens, nestled at the heart of Pinewood Studios.
Jess looked stunning in her dress, which she partly designed herself. Hair & make up was by Kate Pope, and Jess's pretty pastel pink rose bouquet was made by her aunty. Jess & Joe enjoyed a perfect summer's day with all their guests, they got married at a beautiful church in Windsor, and then enjoyed a delicious wedding breakfast & fantastic reception at Heatherden Hall. Their first dance was to Mumford & Son's 'I will wait'... these two have got some awesome moves - Joe twirled Jess all around the dance floor, it was like a scene from Strictly Come Dancing. The rest of their guests all joined in & they danced the night away (highly recommend their DJ - Lovelight Entertainment)... the floor was jumping with so many of their guests cutting loose on the dance floor, the atmosphere really was sensational.Read More
I had the great pleasure of capturing Lauren & Kyle's wedding at Crondon Park recently. Crondon Park is a beautiful barn based in Stock, Essex. I always love finding out how my clients met, to my surprise, Lauren & Kyle met at Fish n Chicken!... not the most romantic of settings, but that's where they fell in love... and years later, it's clear to see, they are still very much in love.
Lauren booked me two years before the big day, so I had a feeling that this wedding would be organised to a tee, and it really was... all timed to perfection, which always takes the pressure off the bridal party, as everyone was ready & calm before the day unfolded.
I've included some highlights below, and I also wanted to rave about some of the other suppliers that day... the elegant looking cake was made by Amy Brown at Cookie Delicious, the stunning vintage inspired flowers were made by Karen at The Flower Mill, Videographer - Hitched Wedding Films, Dress from Serena Bridal. Fabulous hair up by Tara Smith at the Secrets Salon. Not to mention Lauren's make up, which was flawless, thanks to Polly at Kiss & Makeup - highly recommend.
The whole day took place at Crondon Park. The ceremony ran smoothly, the breakfast was delicious, with some moving & funny speeches. They had a great magician (Nick Crown) keeping everyone entertained, followed by dancing the night away to a Frankie Vallie tribute. All in all, a great day to be had... Congratulations to the news Mr & Mrs Simmons xX
