The girl behind the lens…
I am a big believer in authentic & honest photography, I love to capture something real which provokes emotion, something which will tell your story in years to come. I have a relaxed working style and I try not to lose sight of how important a wedding is, I always do my best to fit in with the day itself. I have captured over 100 weddings & I usually receive feedback like ‘your sense of humour really made us feel relaxed’ which is great to hear! Being a documentary wedding photographer I have an endless supply of action, laughter, tears (happy tears!) & romance, giving me most of the content I need to supply a beautiful portfolio at the end of the day, so except for styling a couple of portraits & family shots, there really is no need to be intrusive at a wedding, as a great atmosphere full of action is far more interesting than forced poses.
I have always felt inspired by art, and felt the need to be creative. For me, weddings are about capturing a feeling, the emotion and the story. I love to capture the action, the love, the laughter, the drunken dad dancing and all the little details unique to each couple. I specialise in documentary wedding photography, and my relaxed working style helps camera shy couples to feel comfortable in front of my camera. My work has been published in wedding blogs and magazines, I’m also a preferred supplier at a few gorgeous wedding venues and I feel very fortunate to capture love stories as my job. Having worked as a wedding photographer for nearly a decade, I come with a wealth of knowledge and experience, helping your day to run smoothly.
